The beautiful part about “Misty Valley” is that it’s your own mountain cottage – not having to see anybody unless you choose to – a complete escape for one or two couples.

The cottage contains two luxurious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a dining room with a large wooden table in a rustic, stained timber theme that echoes through most of the furniture.

In the main bedroom you will find a surprise: a luxury spa to relax muscles and soothe the mind. Just the place for you and your partner to unwind.

The Bedroom is romantic with an inviting Queen-size bed, electric blankets and a feather quilt – and chocolates by the bedside.

Enter the ensuite and you will discover the twin showers and everything that you could want including a hair dryer and heated towel rack.

Return to the dining room you will notice the fully equipped kitchen containing your choice of self-cater breakfast. From a fully cooked English style breakfast of eggs, bacon, and mushrooms (at cost only) to a complimentary continental breakfast with cereals, fruit juice, jams and honey, gourmet teas and percolated coffee – the choice is yours!

The front outside deck invites you to enjoy the serenity of the bush, possibly enclosed in mist. Just listen to the sounds of the abundant bird-life or you can enter one of the most beautiful bushwalks that start right outside.

The rear deck is accessed from the dining room or main bedroom and is completely private with market umbrellas, tables and a gas barbecue.

In the village you will find some of Blackheath’s finest restaurants, art galleries, antique and curio shops.
